Mark and Subhan met back in 2013 at a conference and again in 2015 and worked together for 2 years between 2016-2018.

In late 2018, at the Encore, Wynn hotel in Las Vegas, both founders were at the point of their careers where they wanted to start their own company.

After several interactions, they both saw a need to find ways of leveraging existing resources of global data centers and services more efficiently, while facilitating more sustainable growth of the industry. The founders wanted to have a big impact on growth, but a small impact on the environment.

In 2019, a few months after the first meeting, Mark Thiele and Subhan Jahromi founded Edgevana. In order to lower the barriers to entry for industry growth and satisfy the need to maximize resources, Edgevana settled on creating a platform that centralizes the customer's focus and buying power for global infrastructure projects in order to improve time-to-value, reduce risk and increase agility. The initial focus was on solving problems for Web2 enterprises, but the founders found that the Web2 expertise could just as effectively create opportunities for Blockchain/Web3. And so, Edgevana’s Web3 journey began.
